Network Societies are groups that span the wastes and gather whenever a large event or tragedy occurs.
While on the surface their mission may seem humanitarian, they always have their own reasons…
Each society has a large role to play in the overarching story of St. Locusta.
Each is eager to further their own goals, learn secrets, pay the worthy in their society currency, and promote those who have upheld the core values of their society.
The Black Tide Hunters
The first society to show their full force in St. Locusta. The Blacktide Hunters are there when the wastelands' worst threats gather in mass and threaten our ways of life. A Deathcon has been called to quell the Burner Raiders that have amassed at the base of the volcano. While walls have been erected and the raider forces have been held off for now, they need reinforcements. Badly.
The Blacktide Hunters can either be found at the local watering hole, The Summiter, or the Fissures where they will be on patrol for anything that froths at the mouth and is obsessed with fire.
The Ossuary Society
The Ossuary Society has a unique role in the wake of the volcano. While they care very little for fire and for raiders, they do care about the local morgue being swallowed by the lava flow. This area has shown to be unique because the dead are coming back inside the volcano. Specifically they are coming back in the deepest parts of the Magma Vents. A Jones’s paradise for finding lost treasure, but also a survivors nightmare when it comes to meeting fire breathing critters the size of a couch. The Ossuary Society is here to figure out why the Volcano is suddenly acting as a morgue and perhaps how they can turn this into a benefit for all of the wastelands.
The Wells Society
A natural disaster of this caliber will lead to untold numbers of deaths. From the explosion of the mountain, the fires that ravage the area, or the ash cloud that will choke the sun and cause famine for years to come. If you look beyond all of that there is a vast wealth of knowledge to be uncovered here. Opportunities like this only happen once in a generation. The Wells Society will focus on the rebuilding of the local area along with studying the volcano and its effects on the region. The Wells representatives can be found in the Portable ‘Tucome Barkious Memorial’ Wells Society Science Center for Scientifically Minded Members of Society. Where all sorts of fun and invigorating science experiments will be conducted.
The Arbiters Of The Bond
Mother Nature follows her own law, but that is not why the Arbiters are here. Rumor has it that someone has invoked the bond. Whatever the reason is, it is enough to summon the Bondies from across the wastelands who are keeping it very tight lipped. No one can say for sure, but the current rumor is that they are here to track down a high-ranking member of Murder Incorporated and precent them from starting a cell in St. Locusta.
Murder Incorporated
If you have made it here, then you are in the right circles. Welcome to the real reason St. Locusta is here. This sleepy little resort town is actually a Murder Incorporated stronghold. One of the greatest in the western wastelands. St. Locusta is home to the Sin Dictate of the West… at least, it was. Dr. Weston was inside the morgue conducting an operation when the volcano erupted.
The Sin Dictates death will not stop Murder Incorporated. A new Sin Dictate will need to rise and three Regional Overseers have been nominated. All that will need to happen now is for operatives to gather in St. Locusta and vote on who will ascend to the rank.
This is where you come in. As a member of Murder Incorporated, you will be welcome to vote for who you think should rank up and control the future of the western third of the Merican continent.
The three pillars of Murder Incorporated each have selected one Regional Overseer that they want to be elected to the position. Each will have their own jobs, missions, and opportunities to complete. Of course, if you are looking to join a specific pillar, or family there will be ample opportunity to join up.

The Black Market
The Black Market has a smaller, but prominent role in St. Locusta. Normally those who engage in, what many would call ‘crimes against the wastelands’ are politely asked to leave. Or else. However, there is a small posse that has been allowed to set up a shop inside St. Locusta.
The assassins that work, train, and live here understand that there are just materials that they cannot get that others can. They find their business here and are considered honorary members of the family.
For you, this means that there will be someone around that will always have what you need, and some things that you may not have known existed.
You will just have to find them, and prove that you're no Bondie if you want to do business.
No refunds. No names.
